A unique, high‑impact workshop that uses juggling and ball‑skills to build focus, resilience, confidence, and a growth mindset in pupils from Reception – Year 11, mainstream, alternative provision (including PRUs) & SEND.

For over 20 years we’ve delivered this programme in schools, pupil‑referral units, and educational events - and the results are consistently extraordinary. Pupils experience the moment of doing something they believed was impossible, and that breakthrough becomes a powerful anchor for learning across the curriculum.

The workshop develops:

  • Focus & concentration

  • Hand‑eye coordination (linked to reading & writing)

  • Confidence & self‑esteem

  • Peer coaching & communication

  • Emotional regulation

  • A growth mindset through safe, supported challenge

 

Workshop Overview

Purpose:  

To develop focus, resilience, confidence, coordination, and peer‑coaching skills through the process of learning to juggle a three‑ball cascade.

Target groups:  

 

Reception → Year 11 (adapted per age), SEND groups, nurture groups, transition cohorts, whole‑year workshops.

 

Duration options:

  • 45 minutes (assembly taster)

  • 60-90 minutes (full workshop)

  • 6-8 week programme (deep skill development)

Learning Outcomes

 

By the end of the workshop, pupils will:

  • Understand how mistakes help learning

  • Experience a moment of achieving something they thought impossible

  • Improve hand‑eye coordination and motor control

  • Strengthen focus and concentration

  • Practise peer coaching and positive communication

  • Build confidence and self‑esteem

  • Learn a transferable model for how learning works
